Goings on in my Life
This month I took a little step back from blogging (it really showed with my income) and the main reason has been the game Dark Souls 2. I am a huge gamer and the previous Dark Souls game has to be one of my all time favourites. So picking up a copy of Dark Souls 2 on release day and playing it for pretty much the next week was always going to happen. The good news is I have now 100% completed the game, so I have no excuses with blogging this month.
Aside from rage quitting Dark Souls, I spent the rest of the my time working at my full-time job and planning my trip to Paris at the end of the month. Paris has now come and gone but it was an incredible couple of days and I have a number of posts in the works about the city to come soon.
I managed to write my first ever review for my site from my experience taking the Eurostar to Paris. If you have ever considered taking the Eurostar and would like to know more about it then please check out the review here. I really liked how the review turned out and hope to review more travel services, products and websites in the near future.
I have also added a blogroll to the site showcasing more awesome travel blogs and websites from around the internet. If you have your own travel blog and would be interested in exchanging links then please either leave me a comment below or send me an email through my contact page.

Here is where I plan on keeping track on the number of social followers across all of my accounts month on month. If you haven’t done so already I would be very grateful if you followed me on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Youtube, Pinterest or StumbleUpon. Hey, why not follow me on all of them.
Another successful month in terms of social followers with all my accounts heading in the right direction. My Stumble Upon account however is a little disappointing. I really have no idea to best way to increase my followers and after the next month I may remove it from this chart altogether.
My Google Plus community is still going strong and you’re more than welcome to join it and post your own pieces of Travel Inspiration right here.
Website Income – $70 or £42
This is the part I’m guessing most people are generally interested in, the income made by this site.
In March 2014 I only made $70. This was hugely disappointing given my incredible income in February, once again this was from direct advertising. I put this drop down to the fact that I took a step back from my blogging duties this month, instead spending a lot of the time that I should have been promoting the blog or contacting advertisers, playing the Playstation.
This month however I am determined to work more on the blog to try to get this number back up to where it used to be.
If you interested in advertising on my site then please read this page first.
Now the most exciting part for me is my travel savings pot. Having just paid off the remainder of my Paris trip my savings haven’t increased as much as they would normally do, but they are still moving in the right direction.
This is my savings in total. A lot of this is held up within different accounts such as premium bonds and a FTSE tracker so what I actually have could be a little more or less, depending on the market.
There you have my third ever monthly summary. I hope you found it informative and interesting.
If you have any questions or any recommendations as to what else I could add to the monthly summary then let me know in the comments below.
